Masterworks Chorale exists to enrich our community with excellent cultural experiences through the promotion and the live performance of fine choral music.
A Letter From Our Board President
We are excited to announce the 47th consecutive season of Masterworks Chorale’s presenting live music for all the folks of Muncie and East Central Indiana! It is our goal that each concert season provides something for everyone in our listening audience: from classical to holiday, from sacred to pop, our mission is to provide our community with varied and excellent cultural experiences through live performances of fine choral music. As in the past, we’re once again offering a free concert to our community this season and hope you will join us in this experience.
We express our gratitude to those many organizations who partner with us in this endeavor: the Indiana Arts Council, the Community Foundation for Muncie and Delaware County, the Hamer D. and Phyllis C. Shafer Foundation, the George and Frances Ball Foundation, and the AEP Foundation, along with other local businesses and individuals without whose support this simply could not happen.
Along with the skilled hands and leadership of our artistic directors, accompanists, and instrumental performers, our chorale of over 50 talented voices is looking forward to providing you with many hours of listening pleasure. I want to personally invite you to enjoy this season’s offerings from Faure’s Requiem this fall, to The Great Lakes cantata, a new nature-themed concert by Gwyneth Walker slated for our spring 2025 performance, and many things in between!
We believe there’s something for everyone in East Central Indiana to be found over the course of this year’s four concerts, and our chorale is eager to share in the enjoyment of this music with you! We look forward to seeing you soon in person!
